MEET DICKEE

Who is Dickee Jost?

AIR FORCE VETERAN

An Air Force Veteran with a prestigious twenty-five year military career

I planned each mission I flew and had the honor of commanding several successful overseas deployments.

I served as the Operations Officer of a flying squadron with control over every aspect of the mission from training to deployments.  Many of these deployments were to extremely austere locations. I directed the schedulers who worked the details of every training mission flown by my squadron from Offutt and other locations. I directed the deployment personnel to gather our forces to deploy to locations around the Globe on very short-notice.

I served as Chief of Policy and Certifications for the 55th Wing.  Not a single warfighter from the cockpit of all of the flying reconnaissance squadrons left Offutt AFB to participate in worldwide Sensitive Reconnaissance Operational missions without my direct involvement. The training I provided was extensive, normally over a three to five day period.  Initial reconnaissance operations certifications lasted into a second week culminating with a certification brief to the wing commander.

HOME AND SCHOOL BOARD PRESIDENT

Elected to serve as vice president of a Home and School Board then served two more years as president of the board.  While serving, I personally set up a computer lab with 25 computers plus one for the teacher.  I ran the cable and installed network connected computers in each classroom and school office.  I obtained nearly 40 donated computers via my connections with US Strategic Command and delivered and installed each of them with the help of two other volunteers.  I also served as the basketball coach for four years.

A SMALL BUSINESS LEADER

After retiring from the military, I served at a Bellevue based military contractor with my responsibilities culminating as vice president and Chief Operating Officer.  I am well versed in handling multi-million dollar budgets and adept at writing overarching policies. Communicated with and directed the Program Managers of our contracts covering work in 38 states and 47 nations. These skills and experiences will be vital to serving effectively with the board of education.
